Lem Mackedon was born and raised in Fallon. Following his graduation from law school, he returned to Fallon to practice law. He currently practices privately with the law firm of Mackedon Law, PC.. Lem has served as a member of the board of directors for The Fallon Youth Club since 2008.

Amy was born and raised in Fallon, and graduated from CCHS in 1987. She currently teaches middle school at Oasis Academy Charter School. Amy loves serving on the board of the Fallon Youth Club and giving back to her community by helping all children be successful.

Rochelle has been an educator for more than 21 years and has two sons of her own. Currently Rochelle is an administrator at Oasis Academy. Rochelle is active in our community sitting on, not only Fallon Youth Club board, but also Western Nevada College Foundation Board, as well as the Farm Bureau board. Rochelle has been a member of the Fallon Youth Club board of directors since 2017.

Gary was raised in Fallon and upon completion of college football returned as a teacher and a coach. After 36 years of service to Churchill County School District, as principal and assistant superintendent, he retired in 2003. He worked as an independent consultant in a variety of education aspects for many school districts in Northern Nevada. Gary has been with the Fallon Youth Club since the very beginning planning stages in the mid-1990’s. Gary is a volunteer in many other organizations and boards in the community including church, CASA, Parks and Rec, Churchill Community Hospital, Churchill Arts Council, 1964 class reunion, Fallon Theater, serving Catholic seniors at local rest homes and as treasure of Fallon Youth Club as he ensures that funds are treated with the up most respect and accounted for monthly.

Cheryl is a long time Fallon resident with two grown daughters. Cheryl worked with members of the original board to secure funding for the current Fallon Youth Club. She and her husband Mark served on the Silver State International Rodeo board for 17 years. Currently, in addition to the Fallon Youth Club board, Cheryl serves on UNR Alumni Board-Fallon Chapter, Churchill County Farm Bureau, and serves as a group leader for the Lead Green Youth Leadership Summit. Cheryl, is one of the newest members of the board serving since May 2019.

Kelli has dabbled in higher education, ran away on a tallship, cooked on dive boats in the Bahamas, and earned a degree in the Culinary Arts. After moving to Fallon, Nevada, Kelli found her calling at a farm-to-table restaurant. She was inspired to work with local farmers, ranchers, and value-added producers to promote sustainability and advocate for eating seasonally. Now Kelli spends her days advocating for farmers and selling their produce.

Neil moved to Fallon in 2009 as a Senior Chief Petty Officer in the US Navy. Currently Neil is continuing enjoying a second career as a contractor at NAS Fallon and enjoying retirement. Neil has been on our board since 2012.

Pete Olsen is a life long Fallon resident and dairy farmer. In addition to running the family dairy farms with his brother. Pete also serves as the District 2 County Commissioner and sits on a variety of other boards. Pete has been on the Fallon Youth Club board since 2016

Penny moved to Fallon in 2016 after retiring from a 43 year career in education. Penny has always had an interest in supporting youth. Prior to moving to Fallon Penny volunteered for Just in Time for Foster Youth, an organization that supported youth transitioning from a foster care to adulthood. She served as the coordinator for their My First Home program for 3 years.

Chase was born and raised in Fallon. After working as a Professional Chef he returned to his hometown working as a High School Teacher as well as an adviser and Board Director for the SkillsUSA program at the Churchill County High School. Chase joined our board in 2018, having found a new way to help the youth of his home town.
